This exclusive private golf club is available to Colorado Golf Trails golfers, and is tucked back amongst the tall pines where wildlife abounds. You may see deer grazing near your putting green, watching you intently as you hole out for par, or a gaggle of wild turkeys strutting across a lush green fairway. With dramatic elevation changes and the whistle of the Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Train off in the distance, you'll feel worlds away from the hectic life back home. Pinon Hills Golf Course: 18R, Public, 4691-6831 Yds., Slope 120-148, 2003, 1989, Architect: Located in Farmington, NM, (our only chosen out-of-state golf course and 1 hr. from Durango, CO), this layout was awarded 'best new desert course' by GolfWorld Magazine when it opened. In 2002, it was awarded Golf Digest's '#1 municipal golf course in the nation.' From hitting over sandstone canyons to clearing long arroyos (dry streambeds for you city folks), this course is a green oasis in the midst of desert flora and fauna. Pagosa Springs GC: 27R, Resort, 5001-7144 Yds.(Depending on combination of 9 holes), Slope: 109-136, 1980, Architect: Johnny Bulla. On the Meadows course, water comes into play on 6 of 9 holes and it is a fairly flat tract with generous landing areas. The greens on this Pinon course are undulating and the views are magnificent of the San Juan Mountains. Check out the carved tree on #6. Aptly-named the Ponderosa course, these nine holes are mostly in the trees and landing areas are tight so hit the fairway or make a big number. Finally, this Ponderosa Nine is the favorite of the three nines according to other golfers. Optional: Train Day Trip. (Packages: Double Eagle, Eagle,
Birdie, Par.)

Hillcrest Golf Club: 18R, Public, 5252-6780 Yds., Slope: 108-135, 1971, Architect: Frank Hummel. This old style course is well maintained and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Located on a bluff above downtown Durango, many holes have vista views and offers a moderately challenge experience. Telluride Ski & Golf Club: 18R, Semi-Private, 4647-6679 Yds., Slope: 112-141, 2006, Architect: City of Telluride, CO. Keeping your eye on the ball and off the towering peaks may be your biggest challenge in playing this beautiful layout. However, you will be rewarded with 15% (on the average) longer tee shots as you will be playing at 9,300 ft. above sea level. This golf club is surrounded by the most 14,000+ ft. peaks in Colorado (and we have 54 of them), so enjoy the breathtaking beauty in this historic silver mining town and now, world-class ski area. (Packages: Double Eagle, Eagle)

Divide Ranch & Club: 18R, Semi-Private, 5317-6812 Yds., Slope: 111-140, 1993, Architect: Coker. Lush green fairways are carved throughout this high mesa forest of pinon, juniper and ponderosa pine. (Packages: Double Eagle and Eagle Only.)
