COLORADO GOLF TRAILS: ABOUT US
Founded in 1994, TEAM 2000, the parent co. of Colorado Golf Trails, has been providing logoed golf products and tournament tee gifts for golf shops, college golf teams, corporate and charity golf tournaments across the U.S.
Berith Jacobsen, the CEO of TEAM 2000, is also the founder of the Executive Women's Golf Association Denver chapter, a 501c6 non-profit. As such, for quite a few years, she organized the entire season's calendar of tournaments, play dates, lessons and clinics, which averaged over 1800 tee times at 28 Colorado courses. As a result of this volunteer work, she developed a solid working relationship with many Colorado golf professionals who helped lay the groundwork for Colorado Golf Trails.
Finally, after planning pleasure and business golf trips over the years, Berith decided to create golf packages in her own beautiful backyard, the great state of Colorado. Hence, the idea was born on a cocktail napkin at the '19th hole' after a surprising round of golf...a 76!
About Us
Hotels: First, we made it our mission to include name brand hotels. Regarding our choice of accommodations, we personally visit each hotel to ensure that they meet our quality, cleanliness and value standards. In addition, ask us about our private residences on some of our Trails.
Courses: Next, of 'course,' we HAVE to play each course to make sure that the staff, course conditions, scenery and overall amenities meets our A+ standards of excellence.
Colorado, a Golf Destination: In the late 1800's, in them thar hills, Colorado experienced a gold rush of monumental proportions. Today, we hope to have a 'golf' rush as avid golfers like you head to our 'hills' to tee it up while playing each of our Trails. Historically, Colorado is known the world over as a premier ski & snowboard destination. At Colorado Golf Trails, our goal is to gain a renowned reputation as a world-class golf destination as well. Besides, Colorado is geographically equidistant between Europe and Asia so fly into Denver International Airport to experience a golf vacation like no other!
Packages (PrePlanned & Custom): We welcome 2-200+ golfers to participate in any of our Golf Trails. Select a Trail as a surprise gift for a loved one's special birthday, a father-son getaway for Father's Day in June, a gift for your husband's job promotion (to play golf with his favorite foursome), a girlfriend's golf-and-spa-and-shopping getaway, a college reunion of fraternity brothers or as a business/golf trip combined!
